I have a pretty unique name, so this has sort of been the story of my life. I've never met one person who's been able to correctly say my name upon first meeting me. It's uncommon, but it's easy to say and phonetically spelled.
Come on.

My name is foreign, so it's understandable. But I have a friend named Ivey (pronounced like Ivy) and EVERYONE, as in almost every single teacher and student she's met in her entire life, pronounces it Ivory. It makes no sense, there's no R.
