...so, restricting your diet in any way makes you some form of vegetarian? Does that mean all Orthodox Jews are "Kosher-Vegetarians"? Makes no sense. Eating fish is not a "form of vegetarianism" in the same way that cutting out gluten is not a "form of vegetarianism". It's already been said, but I'll say it again. Fish. Are. Animals. Therefore, fish are meat. Vegetarians by definition do not eat meat.
We are called pesco-vegetarians, still a form of vegetarian. Simply a classification, if you are Caucasian, African Amercan, or Mexican, does that make you not human too?
Fish are friends, not food :D.
...And all the other animals too ofcourse.
I am an omnivore and proud of it :)
yay omnivores! the dentition explains it all to me.
I agree. It's like me saying that since I don't eat red meat, that I'm a vegetarian.. it just doesn't work.. lol

So, are shrimp vegetables? If they aren't (last time I checked, they weren't) then I'd say you're a semi-vegetarian.
Why would you be called a VEGEtarian if you eat meat? Plus there's already another word for people who eat fish and vegetables: pescetarian.
fish is not a damn vegetable. gahhhhh.
That would be a pesketarian, not a vegetarian. My sister tried that for a while... couldn't resist the chicken, though.
a@172311 (Mmhmmm): ahaha same thing happened to me! now i just don't eat red meat XD mmm...chicken
they wouldn't be called vegetarian , they're pescaterian
This is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Why? They are still vegetarians, they just have a different form of vegetarianism.
