I have never been to a sporting event of any kind where cheerleaders have actually made the crowd cheer louder then they already were.

Actually, to be honest, cheerleading, whether you would like to believe it or not, is a difficult sport. It involves doing rigorous activity to get you into shape and flipping in ways that people would break their neck trying. And they also lift people. Technically all sports are "pointless". But they still exist because people enjoy doing this. For instance, hockey is just people smacking around a puck but I'm not knocking on that because I don't give a damn if people do what makes them happy.

But other sports have people not doing them entertained by them. I don't think OP is trying to say cheerleading is easy.

Not to mention most of them are obnoxious x.x

I could say the same thing about any extracurricular activity. All the find raisers they do are just to help themselves, so none of them really help anyone in any way.

I could put anything in place of cheerleaders and this statement would still be just as dumb
Football players are absolutely pointless. They help no one and are a complete waste of money.
Swimmers are absolutely pointless. They help no one and are a complete waste of money.
Pianists are absolutely pointless. They help no one and are a complete waste of money.
Dancers are absolutely pointless. They help no one and are a complete waste of money.
See? People don't do these things for your benefit, they do them because they enjoy it. Don't be so self-centered.

I'm not even a cheerleader, and I can see that what they're doing is really difficult and dangerous. You could say what you just said about literally anything that people do for fun.

The cheerleaders at my school are 100% pointless, but I'm sure it's different in other places.

the other day a cheerleader asked me if i was coming to her game. the fuck? i was not going to her game, i was going to the football game

Cheerleading is pointless at a professional sports level. 99.9% of fans attending professional basketball and football games don't give a shit that the cheerleaders are there. The only thing they are nice for is drooling at. However, they enjoy their sport and (falsely) believe they are relevant so that's the important thing. Whatever makes those fine piece of asses happy. Amirite? I guess we can pause live tv and jack off to them instead of pointing out how pointless they are.

Cheerleaders are great for jizz practice. #facial

^ this. Sadly, most of the cheerleaders I knew in high school were major skanks. I came inside of or onto 11 different cheerleaders in my four years of high school. Never used a condom so I was stupid but I got lucky they were never knocked up. Anyway point is, typical cheerleaders in high school seem to be skanks, quick to spread their legs.

Dude what the fuck. You had unprotected sex with eleven different girls and have the fucking audacity to insult//their// character? //They// deserve to be looked down upon? Come on man, they weren't fucking themselves. What makes them "skanky" but not you?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Easy: they're women. Respect the double standard. They were skanks. I was (and still am) a gentleman.

Cheerleaders are there so that men have something to look at in between plays in football.
"Damn, that quarterback got sacked. While he's down I can watch some beautiful women."

Nobody cares about the cheerleaders, they serve NO purpose and are old fashioned.
