Why does buying some clothes they like make them trend-whores? I bought some nice shoes that were similar to a pair a celebrity wore because they were NICE SHOES - i think its worse being a trend snob - you don't suddenly own a style because you happened to wear it a bit longer than everyone else. Your high horse - get off it.

Is it hard to believe that something is popular because a lot of people like it? I don't see the Twilight appeal but Alice in Wonderland ha always been pretty cool - so what if a bunch of people buy a T Shirt, how is it bad?

i have no problem with a bunch of people loving what i love. i liked twilight bout 5 years ago i started to read it. i LOVE ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND! and yes thats the actual title from the book. its a grand story. the thing i dont like bout some people is that when they do start to get mainstream people say 'OMG I LIKE LOVE THIS BLAH BLAH BLAH' and they dont know one bit bout it ya know?

I admit most people who shop at Hot topic are fine but C'mon. All of us know that one person who is like crazy about stuff that is "cool." When really its because they cant think for themselves. I have a friend and she doesnt have an individual thought. She buys stuff from Alice and Wonderland because she thinks that everyone else is gonna like it. Just FYI I hate her because no one likes a copy cat.

i shop at hot topic cuz i like their clothes and if i want to show off that i like a certain movie it doesn't make me a "trend whore" y dnt u look at all the clothes in Aeropostal or American Eagle. all their clothes say their companys name and add colors. boring. atleast hot topic gives u variety
