Michael Jackson was paying Conrad Murray millions of dollars to be his personal doctor. He could ask for any drug he wanted and Doctor Murray would comply. Michael Jackson was not intentionally killed by Dr. Murray. There was no motive for him. If Jackson died, Murray would lose the paycheck. It was completely unintentional. He was negligent. That is all.

No, they are different things. There is 1st degree murder, 2nd degree, and there's manslaughter. It is not murder.
