i just like people who actually SING in their songs.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah me too. The reason why I don't like rap is because I believe songs need to be... sung, you know? As for hip-hop, I don't like singers who sing songs with repetitive words all over their songs. Learn to write lyrics, or hire a lyricist.

Or we just don't like rap music.... I prefer actual singing to people talking really fast and then autotuning it.

people hate rap, because they can't even hear what's going on.

People hate rap because most of it sucks now. It's shallow, trendy garbage- no better than a Beiber or Spears. In the 80s and 90s, before rappers had shittons of money and it became all about what you have, rap was awesome... old Ice Cube, Dre, Snoop, Tupac, & Bone, Thugs, n Harmony were acts that had real talent and actually had something to say. When all you can do is repeat yourself over and over and list your possessions, that's not music; that's crap.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Snoop had something to say? Like smoke weed and kidnap your family?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

All rappers have to say now-a-days is how many women they have, or money they spend on hos. That's exciting, and a total meaning to life.....[sarcasm]

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Music should be easy on ears. If you are looking for soul and meaning go read a poem.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Music is not just about 'easy on ears'.Go back to your Justin Bieber

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, good point All- I added him as an afterthought, because I liked his older stuff. It was very chill. He used to collaborate with good people too. But you're right; he was mostly about partying. The problem is, even the songs about partying aren't fun anymore. It's all about money. Every genre loses it's edge and starts to suck when that happens... ffs look at what's happened to punk rock. It's a goddamn tragedy.

i dont know what to think of a rap act that borrows from harry potter. i've heard a rap song that sampled the theme from the movies and that was bad enough...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

we only hear those songs coz they're the ones that get played on the radio.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no i just hate rap i like listening to music that requires a lot more talent like being able to play real instruments or being able to write songs about things other than bitches and hoes because honestly those rap songs about real life are pretty rare seriously when i turn on the radio all i hear its ke$ha impersonating a clock and lil wayne telling people they can call him fred flinstone
