-375 If Robert Frost took the road less taken by, wouldn't it mean that he made the wrong decision because most people make the right decision, amirite?

Possible, but not likely. The wrong choice is often much easier to make than the right choice.

Its not right vs. wrong, it easy vs. difficult. He mean the harder decision often we give you more rewards.

Well I know that in school, if I take the path less traveled by, I'll end up lost. If I follow everyone else, I'll get to class. :) But I guess it's not to do with actually traveling...

It's the road less traveled by...at least know the poem if you are going to critisize it

You're completely missing the point of this poem... The idea is that most people take the easiest way out of things, simply because it's, as the poem analogizes, the road taken most often. Instead Robert Frost is saying that he took a chance, and took the path that most people were too afraid to take. And if he hadn't taken the chance, he would have spent his life regretting it. It's partly about nonconformity.

The road less traveled by you uneducated moron. Get a clue and get off the computer long enough to learn something and not be an ignorant, overweight, pasty, poor excuse for a teenager.

You're the reason why I hate regular classes as opposed to honors classes..

Just because one road was more traveled... doesn't mean they knew where they were going.

Everyone is discussing the most common misconception of the poem. Frost did not write it about nonconformity, he wrote it about decision making and the idea that people tend to choose a path and look back wondering whether the other path might have been better. But, really, we don't know. He only realized it was "the road less traveled" later. He was inspired by his friend Edward Thomas, who after their walks together would say he wished he'd taken the other path.
