+136 It's somewhat irritating when people insult a celebrity's singing or looks, when they themselves can't sing as well and are less good-looking than the celebrity they are insulting. amirite?

I don't care so much when people do it about celebrities, I think that's what they're there for. But people you know, and know are way better than the person hurling the insult, now that's irritating.

Oh god, agreed. Winter school talent show last year, there were two incredibly annoying boys sitting in the same set of benches as me and my friends kept hurling insults at everybody. Everyone around us was ready to start beating them down. Like, seriously, the people on stage have talent and the courage to play infront of hundreds of people.

Isn't that what we teach in society? In the olympics don't they have judges who I'm sure can't even get a 1.0 in the event they are judging.

celebrities exist so people can share a common hate / distaste (and also like) towards a public figure - establishing common grounds!

i can kind of understand both point of views. the people dont really deserve to be bagged out, but then again, the people who are bagging them out arent the ones trying to be famous....

i think that if they are making the amount of money they are making then they should actually have talent instead of taking the place of people who are much more talented than themselves. but if i insult a celebrity i dont say i could do it better, just that other ppl could
