We're talking about women, like the way the men have no say in having their children during a divorce and how women get paid to have time off when their pregnant...
ok wow...um in which way is the govt doing TOO much for women? And men do get a say in having their kids during a divorce; usually both parents get partial custody and the whole pregnant thing if a woman has a baby she needs time to recover and also needs time to spend w/ that baby so its first couple weeks it grows properly physically n mentally. You will never feel the pain of giving birth so please don't complain about the few weeks women get out of work because they have one
I'll agree in one respect: men should have more say in unwanted pregnancies. If he would prefer that the woman get an abortion, he should be able to pay half the cost of an abortion, and be absolved of all responsibility to the child. It's harder when the woman wants an abortion but he wants the child, but they should be able to come to some sort of arrangement; either she pays restitution or emotional damages, or he adopts the child after birth so she never sees it again.
I also despise affirmative action. I shouldn't get a job over a more qualified male candidate just because I'm woman.
What other areas are there where women are unfairly elevated?
1st off, thats a lie. Its a misconception. Why? Because lets say a woman works 8 hours and makes 100 dollars. Now lets say a man makes 120 dollars for that same 8 hours. 9/10 times its not because ones a man and ones a woman. Its 1 of 2 things. Either 1, in the negotiation of the contract, the man was more aggressive while the woman was a little more passive. Theres nothing wrong with that, but its a possibility.
The other possibility is that the man has proven to be a harder worker with his credentials. I can assure you if a woman comes into a job with a masters degree from Yale and the man comes in with a degree from [Insert Loser College], the woman will make more money hands down. Yes, there are some sexist employers in the world, but people have to understand there is a point where one has to walk away from that job, because why would you even want to work under a sexist in the first place?
The government should not sponsor any sort of affirmative action. All jobs and admissions policies should be oriented towards being merit based or on a basis of helping the disadvantaged. The problem with today's society is that "disadvantaged" is associated with races, sexual preferences, and other TRAITS that a person cannot help, rather than the truly disadvantaged such as the poor. And poor people come from all races, backgrounds, and countries.
Just another tip for women as for sexism towards men: if you hate a man, accuse him of rape, even if it's false, if you have a couple of friends who can lie about it too, you can get any man in jail. Have fun!
Rape is extremely hard to prove and usually has to have DNA evidence for a prosecution. Especially because if there is reasonable doubt then there won't be a conviction. I'm not denying that there are false accusations of rape and that it's horrible when that happens, but it's only 2% of reported rapes that are false, which is consistent with the false accusations of any other crime. Around 70% of women raped do not report it because they are afraid (or whatever other reason) most rapes that are reported aren't taken to court and out of the ones that are only about 50% are convicted (depending where you live mostly it's less than that). So there is a much higher chance of a man getting away with rape than being falsely accused of it.
Flashback to the 1960s: "Civil rights for blacks are good and all, but the government is overdoing it WAY too much, amirite?"
Except they got treated way differently...you don't see us lynching women, do you?
No, I see women's rights being molded toward walking incubators that shouldn't be trusted to manage themselves. Hence the problem.
Shut up you dumbass. Read a book and you might learn something.
I actually read many books, and am most likely smarter than you. Your pathetic comment actually made me dumber.

Where I live men can get paid paternity leave.
Ok then. You gain a bunch of weight for 9 months, giving birth, and then nursing a kid while working..then come back and complain.
Not to mention that nobody hires a chick with a preggo belly. Would he rather them be out of work and broke?

It's women's choice to get pregnant/cancel the baby.
cancel a baby?.....
A.K.A. abort
ive never heard anyone use the word "cancel" in that way before 0_o
that just sounds odd
well cancel means to stop...
but "canceling a baby" just sounds weird...............................
Well eventually it will catch on. maybe if time is infinite and humanity speaking english is infinite, there is a 100% chance that it will happen.
okay?........
Don't comment if you don't have anything that is something you reply to.
CHEESE DOODLES!
I replied!!
Wacha gonna do? CANCEL ME!?
What do you mean it's her choice to get pregnant? A guy doesn't HAVE TO impregnate her.
It's her choice to fuck him.
Well it's her choice to keep the pregnancy

If they're talking so casually about ending their child's life then I think they should both go to psychologists
Fun fact (emphasis on the word FACT): Women are the only statistical majority who are still treated as a minority. Everywhere.
Get off the computer and get back in the kitchen
Meanwhile...women are still making less than men. Absolutely ridiculous. OP IS EXTREMELY SEXIST AND IGNORANT!!!
I'm curious, where does everyone get this idea that women make less money than men? Is there an actual statistic somewhere?

Fuck off.
As a feminist, I support equal rights. Therefor, either EVERYONE signs up for the selective services, or no one does.
Also, I will always offer to pay on a date.
In what ways?..
TROOLLLLLLL in the dungeon!
Actually not trolling, bro
