Some religious people think it's the work of the Devil. One of my friends isn't allowed to read a series with an actual plotline and good, developed characters that happen to be wizards and actually has some hints at Christianity in it, and yet she can read about sparkling vampires and werewolves all she wants? It doesn't make that much sense to me, especially considering there are werewolves in both HP and Twilight.

Oh man if you kids only knew. My uncle used to be a devil worshiper and once as i was watchin harry potter, he said that each "spell" that they chant is a name of a bad spirit. So i indeed believe it is evil =0

They don't chant... anything. They just mix up latin words, and seeing that latin also makes up other languages... does that mean that every time they speak, it's evil?
