The school system is a joke, if I'm smarter than a Senior and all of my classes are more advanced than his why is he out of school earlier than me? Let the smart people go and make the stupid people keep going to school. amirite?
The school system is designed to help you reach your potential as an intellectual, not teach you the most basic information that you need to survive in the world and then kick you out. The extra time you're putting in now, means you're that much smarter than the senior and more readily able to apply your knowledge in the real world, thus helping to ensure your prosperity once you graduate.
If your goal is to get out as quickly as possible, just drop out once you're 16, nobody's stopping you.
There's this senior on my team who was bragging about a 4.0 even though she's in the lowest classes with early release and late start, while I'm sitting there with a 3.8 in all advanced classes and a higher math and science than her, all because I got a B in advanced english.
They've put in the time for what? To learn nothing, I remember when I was a Senior in High School there were so many ignorant people who just went to school everyday and learned nothing, there's no point to it.
School isn't just for being "Smart" and learning generic subjects. It teaches you how to function in society, and how to relate to others on an intellectual level. Also learning a good work ethic and many other skills.
Many people who were "Dumb" in school turned out to be very smart and succesfull people.
Albert Einstein was a dropout, look what he did for the world.
Okay, all of your classes are more advanced than his, but what if he is in average classes (normal) and you are in way way WAY advanced classes? Just because you are more advanced than him doesn't make him stupid. And based on this statement and pretentious-ness of it, I'd say he deserves that deploma more than you.
Also, do you even know how high school works? You have to get credits, i.e. put in a lot of time. Just becasue you are in advanced classes doesn't mean you have completed them.
They've put in the time. It's how the system works. Get mature.

I could not have said it any better. I applaud you, sir.
Thank you. I appreciate that someone else has a level head when it comes to education
I was just about to say the same thing when I read your comment.
If your goal is to get out of school as quickly as possible, then I wouldn't call you an intellectual.
Exactyl. Those people fucking piss me off...I want to learn this shit so I can do something with my life and these douchebags are wasting my time.
for those people who dont do anything, let them start working instead of distracting other students who actually might become doctors or lawyers.
I used to be one of those kids. Now I'm on my way to getting my doctorate's. Don't just assume those kids aren't learning anything.
I say keep the arrogant people in high school as punishment for allowing their egoes(?) to inflate to the point where they might agree with this.

Let her have her bone. Maybe it will give her something to look forward to in the future
*Work for not look forward to.

Wait, you want the dumb people in school and the smart people out? Wait a second...
how can noboy agree with the last sentence?
people mature over time, yeah there are 12 year old geniuses smarter than the average graduate, but do you think he should ba able to get his diploma?
