That's exactly what I was thinking! I mean, I don't mind that he's Indian (which IS Asian, so it's not too far off), but this particular guy is all wrong!

Because originally the movie had an all white cast, then this Asian actors organization got pissed saying the movie was 'white washed'. So the response was to add a person of color to the movie, meaning the producers decided to make the main antagonist a person with dark-skin. They also decided to add Africans and French people to the Earth Nation (trying to further drive the idea that the weren't racist home). There are actually protests and boycotts arranged for the movie because of it's insensitivity to Asian culture and the producers knowingly shitting on the creators original work. Fire Nation = Chinese Air Nomads = Tibetan Water Nation = Inuit Earth Nation = East Indian with some additional East Asian influences

Exsqueeze me? Mike and Bryan are Executive Producers - if they had a problem, they could've pulled funding at any time. Plus. That "Caucasians and other races" casting call was NOT from Paramount, it was from a third party, and Paramount bitched them out for it. If you're honestly buying into the Racebenders' propaganda, I feel sorry for you. They twist facts around, believe it or not.

I was originally wayyyy psyched for the movie, but now Im not sure I even want to see it- zuko is my favorite charchter and in the pictures I've seen, he doesn't even have a scar!!! What is that?!?'

Yeah, the movie doesn't look all that great. We'll see when it's released, but I'm guessing it's gonna be another terrible movie adaptation.

Yep, I saw it yesterday. It was pretty bad. It seemed like they were rushed to get done with it almost. There weren't any breaks from the action, it was just one part flowing into the next, and I had a feeling that it was hard to follow for those who hadn't seen the series. Also, the biggest thing that bugged me was that they pronounced Aang, Sokka, Iroh, and maybe a few more names wrong. Well, Shyamalan's movies are either great or terrible; this one falls into the latter category in my opinion.

I still find it weird how in the series, all of them could speak fluent english and read perfect Chinese. Except toph. But then this just proves they're all Chinese, amirite?

I hope the movies good!!! I HATED the dragon ball evaloution movie cause ive watch like the whole anime and it was sooooooo wrong i mean the granpa didnt even die correctly!!! so I hope hope hope that Avatar will be good because i lovee the anime!!! X3

The anime shows the characters in Asian dress, Asian homes and the water tribe are clearly Eskimo. HOW could someone not see this?

Okay so basically I was also hoping for a hotter zuko, but i was at least happy he was asian....EVEN SO...i think he was played pretty well :/ but please stop that shama...lama what ever his name is making more of these because it feels like he's not even a true fan...I MEAN DID HE EVEN WATCH IT? And Zuko looks Chinese to me...
