Eh, this is why I refer to them as England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, etc. The UK, Britain, Great Britain just make it more complicated. Just so you know, the most common language on these islands is English. Common minorities are Gaelic and Scots. Even if Scottish or Irish speak a minority language, the most likely also speak English. People in foreign countries actually learn two or more languages from a young age, unlike Americans.
