The Chronicles of Narnia should be read in chronological order, not in published order, amirite?

Chronological order: The Magician's Nephew; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; The Horse and His Boy; Prince Caspian; The Voyage of the Dawn Treader; The Silver Chair; The Last Battle
Published order: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Prince Caspian; The Voyage of the Dawn Treader; The Horse and His Boy; The Silver Chair; The Magician's Nephew; The Last Battle
I hate how they seem to be making the films in published order.

I'm not sure what's going on with the Magicians Nephew but they have said that they have to make The Voyage of the Dawn Treader next because if they did The Horse and His Boy first Edmund and Lucy would get to old.

Yeah they're already done filming Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

you can't really blame them for it, but it doesn't make it any less weird for the people who read the books chronologically =/

I can't wait for the Magician's Nephew

why's it the CHRONICLES of narnia if it's not in CHRONOLOGICAL order? things dont make sense any more...

I have to disagree, If I read the Magician's Nephew before The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe I probably would not have read any other books after that. If you read The Wardrobe first then Magician's Nephew it adds more to Magician's Nephew, like how the Wardrobe was made, the Silver Apple, how Narnia was made, and who the professor actually is.
