Many people find that murderers/rapist/abusers/arsonist (people like those) are fcked in the head, but many of us also enjoy to watch tv shows and movies about them. So really isn't it fcked up that the rest of us like to watch it, isn't it alittle hypocritical... amirite?

There's a huge difference between watching something on television or in a movie and actually doing it.

never thought of it that way.

Most of us like seeing the perpetrator brought to justice, or the victim get revenge, in the end... that's why it's not hypocritical. Watching things like that gives us a sense of rightness, however illusory it may be. Now, if you watch that kind of thing and wish you could commit the crimes, or wish psychopaths and sociopaths would go free... well, that's different. I don't think that's all that common, though.
