+546 If someone out to dinner with you wants to try a taste of what you got at a restaurant, they better ask you first. It's not cool to just take something off someone's plate, and if you agree they better not expect more than a taste. You ordered it because you wanted it, it's your food, amirite?

I've always felt that eating was communal, and have always shared food... I think one of the best meals I've ever eaten was tajine in Morocco with a group of close friends. No silverware; just your hand (right hand, of course), and a big pot of couscous, meat, and veggies. It shows that you accept those around you, and learned to share when you were 5...
