+618 I'm not homophobic, but I don't get gay men who act and dress ultra-feminine and lesbians who dress and act very masculine. Their partners might as well be straight, seeing as they're almost dating the opposite gender anyway, amirite?

Maybe they feel more comfortable that way? I know a ton of STRAIGHT women who dress and act very masculine. And honestly, I find flamboyant gay men extremely adorable.

Flamboyance /=/ adorable

Adorable... but not in a "I want to date him" way. xP But some of the more flamboyant guys are just plain annoying, to be honest...

You have to think from their perspective. Some gay men are gay because they feel like women, but either don't feel feminine enough to go through the transition, or don't feel comfortable enough to let go of their masculinity. The flamboyance and effeminity is the result. Besides, it's cute.

why did you start the post with "im not homophobic" if your post has nothing to do with you being scared of gay people.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

obviously just in case some people take it the wrong way...kind of like you just did.

Lol, all homophobics must be speachless now.

People do not date each other based on what they wear. It's what is inside that matters.

People have preferences. Regardless of attitude/dress, you still have to consider genitalia. That's the determining factor.

Yes, it is quite confusing when things aren't so black and white.
