Because the actual ingredients in snickerdoodles are waaaay healthier than Snickers, right? I'm not saying they're more unhealthy, I'm just saying that disliking a certain type of cookie probably is not a sign of obesity.

Well cookies your grandma always bakes usually aren't associated with obesity as much as candy bars.
