Just the other day he got BP to pony up $20 billion for people who's lives were screwed up from the oil. That's only like 1/5 of all the money BP has left, and it saved millions of people from years of lawsuits.

Take a few 300 level Economic, Political Science, and History classes before you jump to conclusions about our President. The promise of change was a good way to get into office, but everyone knows it is unrealistic that major change would happen in just two years. Too many factors are out of the government's hands. Also, our government was designed to be inefficient to prevent certain problems with rushing laws into effect as well as other reasons. No (non-fictional) person could live up to the expectations America has for a president in this situation without an enormous amount of luck. Also, the debt is to be expected in our situation: we are at war and are in a recession. I am definitely not saying Obama has been perfect, but many comments against him are completely uneducated. I am aware that this post has inaccuracies at face value, but I do not feel like going into a detailed explanation.

It's not uneducated to say that Obama has let down Americans in MANY ways, yes, some by the promises he made and did not keep. There are some things that are out of the government's hands, but many things COULD have been done that HAVE not been done to fix America's problems. If Obama still can't make a reasonable amount of impact after half of his term is wasted, then it's a shame we voted him into office (which, by the way, was merely a product of black citizens gushing blind enthusiasm and support).

I dislike Obama so friggin much, but not a huge percent of citizens are black. Not enough to get someone elected. You could also add all of the people who don't want to work and believe they're entitled to something, though! Then add all of the TV stars who [usually] don't know crud and just say, "HELP THE POOR PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT!" They get some mindless followers, and add the people who vote for him to not be racist, and BOOM! You've got enough votes.

1. Saying the American government was designed to be inefficient is a ridiculous thing to say. It wasn't made to be all-powerful or completely controlling, but it was intended to be efficient. 2. The fact that we are at war should NOT contribute to debt, nor should it be expected to. In nearly every other American war, the war led to a boom in the economy and the complete opposite of debt. Both of these things are exactly what someone making excuses for Barrack Obama would say.

So, forcing through a health care bill borderline illegally, increasing welfare and unemployment, and making some snazzy speeches has helped our country? Funny. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Reaganomics took a while to take affect, and it took affect during Clinton's term. Of course he had a surplus. But when the economy just...stopped, he created a loan policy that gave loans to people who [obviously] couldn't pay them back and cut some stock market regulations. Hence, the mess Bush was in. Granted, Bush didn't do such a great job, but it wasn't his fault entirely.

Obama isn't doing the best a person in his position could do... I'm happy BP is giving money to help people but Obama is forcing them to, surpassing a court which is technically illegal, not to mention that his pay czar will have exclusive rights to handle the money also, the government allows the drilling to take place.
