you read them with great attention to detail? because that's what peruse means. Most people think it means to skim!

As I perused this post, failing to note any grammatical errors, I nevertheless disagreed with the statement. Although I do not use the word regularly, I do know many people who know the meaning and would use it correctly.

My boss always say preuse instead of peruse. He thinks hes smarter than I am!
