+685 It's all very well to wear a bullet-proof vest, but it's not going to do much good if you get shot in the head is it? Maybe worth investing in a helmet also. amirite?

It is also terribly difficult to make a headshot, so the vest does quite a lot of good. One of the things that I would like to point out is that wearing a bulletproof vest OUTSIDE of one's clothes is begging for someone to take a shot at your head.

One thing I'd like to point out: a "bullet-proof" vest won't stop anything larger than a pistol round. Helmets, even less so. Even still, the impact of being shot can be enough to stop your heart, or at least break a rib or two.

As Jordan pointed out, if a shooter can see the vest they aren't going to waste time and bullets aimng at it.

It is true that wearing a bullet-proof vest can save your upper body part, but it cannot save your life if you get shot directly in your head. But for your head protection there is an option called bulletproof helmet which can save your life. Wearing both will surely save your life in a battlefield. If you wish to purchase them, then there is a shop named https://www.zfi-inc.com/en/bullet-proof-vests which provides both these life saving equipment in reasonable price for civilians and law enforcement personal that could be of help.
