@221144 (Anonymous): Actually its really good, its a 32 gb, no scratches or cracks, nothing, it was brand new. I have wireless, and downloaded a free texting app, so its gangster, also I'm going to get service for it soon, I hope.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

XD maybe, but It won't affect me in any way...I hope.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they shouldnt have a phone in the first place....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly. His dad just has too much money to know what to do with. It's so stupid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, what are you supposed to do with the extra money? Let it rot? Buy food and let it rot? Put it in the bank and let it rot? Buy clothes? Buy a laptop? Buy an iPhone? Donate it (A wasted decision)? The iPhone makes the most sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How is a donation a wasted decision? One of my best friends had luekemia when he was really little. The Make A Wish foundation granted his wish and made the terrible experience a little bit better for a five year old going through intense therapy. Made possible by donations. So how the hell can you say that a donation is a wasted decision?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Donation: You work really hard just to give money away to somebody you don't know. You can give your money to your kids, or gifts.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, why give the money to some starving six year old who really needs it when you can use the money to buy your six year old an iPhone that they have no need for instead? /sarcasm I hate people like you. So much.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@222821 (Palindromed): Agreed. Agreed agreed agreed agredd. It's (partly) because of people like you (MeiLK) that the world is so fucked up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Who's fault is it that the starving six year old is starving?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What does it matter? If you someone in need and you can help them, are you just going to walk by and pretend not to see?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HELL YEA! Where I live people try to make a living by picking flowers and selling them. Homeless people do that to make money. I'd buy it then, but not if people are doing NOTHING and just beginning for money.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay, I do agree with you that homeless people should at least be trying to get a job and stuff like that. But how much is fifty cents going to out you at the end of the day? Really? And my church (I'm probably going to be chewed out for belonging to a church...) has a program where we make what we call Manna bags. We live in a rather large city, so there are a lot of people on the streets. The manna bags have simple supplies like a few bandaids, a couple of packages of things like peanut butter crackers and granola bars, a Bible verse, and a large bottle of water. They're given out to whoever wants them in our church family and we keep them in our cars. So, if we see someone who needs it, instead of giving money, we give them a bag. It's not hard.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They don't just sell 1 flower... they sell like 10 and get like $5 then buy that unbranded cereal with a lot if cereal. They eat it like it is chips.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's your fault they're starving because you're spending money on iPhones for six year olds.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, it is their fault. The little kid can go get a job. Or sell flowers. Then with the money buy food.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hello? In the US, little kids can not legally work. The very earlist you can get a job is fifteen, in some places, usually at least sixteen, and for a lot of stuff other than fast food, eighteen. And, unfortunately, in a lot of places, such as big cities (where a lot of poverty is located) there isn't much wildlife, much less people who would by a flower being sold by a kid on the streets. It's just not realistic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Kids aren't working as a job. A little kid can dance on the sidewalk and put a hat out to get money. A little kid can just make a sign to get money. If there was a little kid vs an old guy dancing, the little kid would get more money.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you're sending mixed messages! I thought that you thought that begging and advertising your need of money was to be frowned upon, but here you are endorsing it? And also, in some places, you have to have special permits to be a "street performer" or you'll be cleared off by the cops.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I do frown upon it, but they can do it, just not get MY money that I worked so hard for because they did nothing. Little kid gets caught by cops. ??? Little kid has a nice place to stay.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So, what would be the point of them doing that if everyone thought like you and just ignored them? You're not making any sense! And no. The little kids don't get caught by the cops. They get cleared off. As in, get told that they can't do that there and the cops make sure that they don't. There's a difference.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not everyone thinks like me. What if they do? What if they keep doing it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with Dani_Lynn. You're completely contradicting yourself. Besides, who said the kids I was talking about even live here? Maybe I was talking about a third world or war torn country. How do you think kids there are supposed to make money?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thank you!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Anytime. Us philanthropists have to stick together :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hehe, yeah =)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A six year old is probably not responsible enough to own an iphone.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How so?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree. Down with capitalism.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

THANK YOU. I'm so sick of the way we spend money here in North America. It's disgusting. And don't even get me started on those big corporations.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's little things like that that can make a wealthy family broke. I watched that happen to my friend.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Money doesn't rot...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It is wasted if you don't use it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

doesn't mean you can't invest it into something more useful or productive maybe buy food, clothes put it towards college, you get the point

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not for a little kid though, broski

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's sickening. I knew someone in my 6th grade compacted math class (8th grade math in 6th. [I think he cheated in]) and he stated "his mom would get him an iPhone if he passed the IOWA. (Test to see if you got a chance in 7th grade to do algebra.) He failed it with a 75% and his mom got him a frickin iPhone AND a laptop!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate it when that happens! There are people in my school who, if they don't like their cell phone, they'll purposefully break it and tell their parents it was an accident so they'll get a new one. If I broke my cell phone, my parents would say, "Too bad." and I wouldn't have a cell phone. Just be grateful you HAVE a phone and appreciate it until your contract is up, K?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Milks.favorite.cooki): This is my real account, I just didn't log in yet. I ALSO know someone who's had a phone since 2nd grade (a Razr.) Then got a nice phone (LG Xenon?), LOST that, got a BLACKBERRY, and now to replace the Xenon is getting an iPHONE!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh yeah, and also I am grateful to have a cellphone, it just the two stories I've said sorta disgust me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some of you are crazy. The kid's dad is a terrible person for spending $500 irresponsibly? That doesn't mean he doesn't care about starving kids in bad countries. It's none of your business how people spend their money.
