The term "abino" is offensive to people that have albinism

I don't understand why that was down voted. Yeah, they forgot an "l" but it actually is considered an offensive term.

What's misunderstood about them? They're pale because of some missing skin pigments. It's not like there's an "albino culture" or albino stereotypes.

Actually, there are some that don't like the term, for some reason thinking THAT'S derogatory, but being OK with being called "a person with albinism". Its very stupid and very real.
