+369 whoever said not to judge a book by its cover didnt really think that through, the write up explaining the book is on the (back) cover too, amirite?

Nowadays, the back of the book always has positive reviews of the book or another book be the same author. But the inside cover still contains a plot summary.

thats true on hardcover books, but for softcover most of the time its still on the back

But, sometimes it can be a great book but the writing on the back makes it sound shit =/

Haha I couldn't think of the word :) and actually I do read to the point where my room is being overrun by the books that no longer fit into my bookshelf :P

Most of the time I judge actual books by their cover (and title), unless it's like, a specific book I'm looking for. I'm more likely to choose a book with beautiful artwork on the cover and a neat title. D;

Exactly, that's what the cover is there for, it's purpose is to catch people's attention!
