+421 people deal with snow all year round in some parts of the world, England gets half an inch and the entire country goes insane and can't handle it, amirite?

It's because were not prepared for it..I live in Georgia and it kind of funny..(1 inch if snow and no school for me :))

I live in Georgia too! Marietta. It's pretty awesome and I'm from Minnesota so I laugh at you Georgians but you guys can handle snow pretty well. It's all iced up right now.

I live in Marietta too. o_O It's hilarious. People freak out so badly; it's practically all they talk about.

Powder Springs.. I read that post and I was like "heck yeah, that's Georgia." and our county is always last to get out of school too :P

I live in Gwinnett... Its like a treat for us!!! Hall county is soo lucky!!! They get out of school for EVERYTHING!!!

Oh, I know. Cobb fricking County only gets out if there's like a twenty car pile-up in front of the superintendant's house. One day our main entrance was so flooded that AN OLD LADY FLOATED AWAY WHILE WALKING HER DOG, THE POLICE HAD TO FOLLOW HER DOWN THE ROAD IN A BOAT AND THE DOG DROWNED..... and we still had school. All the buses went ten minutes out of their way to get to the back entrance, and school let out an hour late because the back started flooding too. Not related to snow, but our superintendant hates us all.

Oh that sucks..I'm sorry.. But on the good side I thought people on this website we all over the world ..I didn't think I would talk to someone on this site close to me XD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, me neither. It makes me wonder if I legitimately know anyone on this site that I've had conversations with...... :)

we only get school off where i live if there is more than a foot of snow. and very often it snows 10 or 11 inches, and the goddamn school district decides not to just let us have it off.

I HATE BRITISH PEOPLE EVEN MORE NOW

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it was more like 5 inches in england, but even so, thats still pathetic... i should know, i've lived in both england and NEW england, so.... :L

Except this is from Feb 2010... Look at the date

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha I live in Canada. Schools on everyday. The buses don't run if its below -40 but were expected to show up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Woah. Wait. 'Half an inch?' I got 10 and my school was still open. Half an inch doesn't make the country ground to a hault that is called exaggeration. What part of England are you on about.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's nice and serene though.

the girl i babysit for is from england and she moved to canada and she asked me how we deal with all this snow because she's going insane xD it makes me laugh because we had maybe two inches of snow then now we have over a foot of snow.

This post is from February 2010, people!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even last year we had more than half an inch! Or at least my city did.
