That's totally fine. I guess under the term 'love story', I don't necessarily see all kinds of love stories as referring to true or mature love. I don't consider infatuation and love to be the same at all.

The only sad death was Mercutio. He was actually funny, and brought a lot comic relief. The rest deserved it.

I'm a fan of romance novels and love stories and I've read some REALLY GOOD Shakespeare plays, but I honestly HATED Romeo and Juliet. It's about two lusty teenagers who defy their parents, "fall in love" at first sight (which i don't believe in because it was obviously superficial. you simply do not just fall in love with someone without knowing nothing about them) and on top of that they're so suicidal. It's like "oh I can't be with you? Okay, well I've only known you for a little while but I'll just kill myself!" There's so many parts where they just wanna die.

It was written to make fun of Italians, like many of Shakespeare's plays, because the English at that time hated them. He meant for the characters to seem stupid.
