+2,199 Dear "always" if you want us to be more comfortable with our periods, please make your pad wrappers less noisy, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OMG so true, I hate it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes yes yes yes!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thats why a lot of girls do the courtesy flush and open it really quick.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't like doing that, it feels wasteful. I try to do it when there is no one else in the bathroom or when someone else flushes.

the new always infinity pads have pretty quiet wrappers...and you don't have to change them as often because they are really absorbant but stay really dry and they are really flexible so you dont feel uncomfortable AND they are really thin so you don't feel bulky...the wrappers are better than the old ones for sure!! but uh if you have a problem with pads then wear tampons...the wrappers are basically silent on the new kotex ones...

@234812 (me): Wow, are you an Always salesman?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

omg its so loud when ur at school or in public and people KNOW what you are doing

by Anonymous 13 years ago

omg yes! i hate that! someone sould send them a letter about this!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Honestly, no cares if you're on your period. If you're using a girls bathroom, chances are everyone else who uses that bathroom gets a period. They won't laugh at you for getting it. They'll just have reassurance that you're not a man sitting in the stall.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Agreed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate it at my house, because I'm always paranoid that everyone in my house can hear what I'm doing, and I'm the only one in my house who GETS my period. But I don't bother with pads at school, I always wear tampons

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's so very true. My brother won't even say pad or tampon. Instead, he calls them "female hygiene products".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why do you care if someone hears you opening a pad? All girls get it at some point. It's natural. And if you hate the sound of pad wrappers so bad, use tampons. The playtex ones have wrappers made of that cloth-like material.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Omg I hate it! Even though every girl gets it, it is still embarassing!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(You will never know): I agreee!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I seriously don't see what the big deal is. Unless you're in the guys' bathroom, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. All girls get a period, you're not some freak of nature.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its just akward as Hell. If they played some nice music in the bathroom or there was a bunch of converstation going on and people washing their hands then its okay. other wise its like....ugh. girls get it. its awkward anyway just standing in there waiting for them to leave.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just don't use Always. Kotex has wrappers made out of cloth.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i don't see the big deal?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's just kinda like aan awkward thing when some random person walks in during school and it's mad quiet. and all you hear is that unwrapping of paper:P i understand that everyone gets it (girls obv) but you feel uncomfortable

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's why I buy Kotex.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hahahha. Are we really arguing about how we feel about pad wrappers?? Haha. We all have our own opinions and we all have the brands we like to buy (:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

STORY OF MY LIFE. lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's only bad when you're home alone with your dad or brother, and you feel like they are standing right at the door. Hate itt!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OMG! hhahahah. that alwaysss happens to me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes! I hate changing them during school!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even though I know the majority of the girls at my school have already gotten their periods and those who haven't yet know what they are, it still makes me uncomfortable. I've only heard people changing theirs a couple of times, and I feel like I do it a lot more. Plus, whenever I go during class so no one else is in there, someone almost always walks in. You just have to open it quickly and get it over with.

They can be so loud in public or school bathrooms. I know all girls get it coz it natural and that but still super awkward 😖

I know every girl gets it coz it’s natural and that but still super awkward in public and school bathrooms. 😖

or like if there’s a group of girls just hanging out in there and you have to change your pad, wtf am I supposed to dodo I go dot by dot and have them question why tf i am taking so long? Lol. Anyways on like the 3rd day of my first one, I asked my teacher (who was also my softball coach) if I could use the employees restroom because the girls was being cleaned and he said ya... and DAMN did I feel free!

by Anonymous 4 years ago

Sometimes I can't even change my pad at school because my teachers won't let us go to the bathroom. They tell us to go during passing :/ It's really gross, I know.

by Anonymous 4 years ago

At my school we aren't allowed to close the main door to the bathrooms, so like the stalls are still there but the door to the hallway is always open and you can hear when people walk by and it's just soooooo gross and like an invasion of privacy??? Anyways, the boys bathroom is right next to the girls so I usually use the bathroom in the nurse's office during my period.

by Anonymous 4 years ago

see the thing is is that for whatever reason snakey girls (at my school at least) will always be judging if you make noise with a pad, even if it's silently, which is completely DUMB but they *do* do it
