They probably don't want ppl just taking them as a prank and then not having some for those who actually need it, or maybe they don't want ppl to take them all from the school just cuz they don't want to go out and buy their own. Besides, even if you don't have a quarter, I'm sure that you could find someone to give you the 25 cents or an extra tampon or something if they had it.

You're bitching about a quarter? 25¢? A quarter is nothing, you can't buy shit with a quarter. You must be on your period, or poor on a level I've never seen before, and I've known some broke ass people. I have $60 dollars in quarters under my bed right now, and another $30 in other coins. Tampons aren't free, they don't even have to offer them to you, it's just a courtesy. You're talking about a school, not a pharmacy. They need money to buy more. If you can't find a single quarter to buy a tampon that's just sad on so many levels. Even if you don't have a quarter on you (what, you can't carry a single quarter just in case? or a tampon for that matter?), you don't know anyone who likes you enough to give you a single quarter? I'd give a quarter to a person I don't like, or don't even know for that matter.
