(Anonymous) Wow. First of all, the sizes vary, second, yes, unless you have a birth defect you can fit a tampon. How do you think babies are made. And penises are way bigger than tampons.
No they don't stop in water. Sit in a bath with no tampon when you're on your period. Just because there is enough water to dilute it so you don't see it doesn't mean it's not happening.
you are only suppsed to keep them in for six hours max. any lover could cause health problems. using a tamp won't break your hymen, but some young ladies do not like them. :)
Just the idea of sticking something inside me freaks me out. I know I'll be okay with it one day and I've tried before, but for now, I just don't feel ready. It's the same for many people.
Wow this is late...I think people who complain about not being able to swim are annoying. You have to option of using a tampon (tons of women do so it shouldn't be scary) and if you don't want to use one, fine...but you have no longer have the right to complain.
IK I HATE THAT! oh wait im a guy
hahaha you're funny :) good thing you don't have to worry about it :d
ik im lucky i guess :)
tampons kind of creep me out... :-/
i agreee! tampons scare me..:/
Also, some girls do not have gapingly large vaginas for the tampon to comfortably fit in.
That's why they make mini ones. :)
that's a really rude comment. and completely wrong -as in, not right. you're fucking stupid.
I think you're more rude than anonymous up there. Dumbass.

that's what tampons are for.
yeah but sometimes tampons leak ... and then it's awkward -_-
there is nothing scary about a tampon.
I knew all the comments would be about tampons, and not everyone is able to use them for different reasons...ps periods stop in water
true, they stop in water. but they don't stop when you get OUT of the water and want to lay on the beach and tan..
haha I once had to go swimming in a pad... It wasn't that bad because I used a really thin one... but maybe not next time...
Wow, really? So I was worried all those times for nothing...? :/

Your period doesn't stop in water. That's like saying it stops in the shower.
so which is it assholes???! does it or does sit not stop???!! cuz it explains why it's light as hell when i'm swimming.... ?
I'm not scared of tampons but i still don't use themn becaues i'm unconfrotable using them. That's just how some girl are
It sucks worse when you're at camp and then everyone knows you're on your period because otherwise you would be swimming.
I am not sticking a tampon up my vagina. Fuck that. Dicks are different, it's natural. I don't think shoving cotton up my vagina is. |:
I agree with you.
hahaha i guess that really does make sense :)
ur period doesnt stop you. TAMPON
you are only suppsed to keep them in for six hours max. any lover could cause health problems. using a tamp won't break your hymen, but some young ladies do not like them. :)
And I agree...tampons are scary.
I am too scared to try a tampon...so I feel your pain!
poor guys who are reading this
Tammmmmpon!
Some people might not feel comfortable using one.
Well can't they learn? It's not that hard, especially if you practice. :) But I guess it is a good point, especially for more younger people. :)
Thats why you use a tampon!
Tampons are not scary or uncomfortable. stick one up and you're good for 8 hours of anything.
ha funny because that's THE worst thing to do. every heard of TSO? you're not supposed to keep them in for 8 hours, have fun dying ;)
Actually, you CAN keep them in for up to 8 hours, but that's the absolute longest you can have them in safely. :)
also, getting TSO is like slim to none. andd theyre right it says on the box you can have them in for 8 hours.
4-8 hours. They might leak if you leave it in too long.
Shot of depo provera every three months no period oh yeah! Haven't had one in over a year.
Your period kind of stops in water or like the blood goes unnoticably in the water I guess
Using a tampon is the best option, but in reality when you go swimming your body heat usually lowers, which makes your period slow anyways.
Tampons are made of cotton.
How in the world are they scary...?
Just the idea of sticking something inside me freaks me out. I know I'll be okay with it one day and I've tried before, but for now, I just don't feel ready. It's the same for many people.
Will the pool turn red?
tampons, my dear.

A better way to say this would be "Having your period when you want to swim sucks" or "It sucks when you're on your period and you want to swim."
Really?
