+1,146 8th graders: You're not as cool as you think you are. Amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

how right you are

by Anonymous 13 years ago

same goes for high school freshmen

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay. I'll keep that in mind as I go into eighth grade this year. Thanks for the advice.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah I was thinkin' the same thing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I never thought I was. I'm going to be a freshman and still don't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same goes for everyone who thinks they are cool Dx

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think that most people (as a class) think highly of there class, look up to/are afraid of the classes above them, and think the younger class consists of cocky assholes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Each year, the kids get worse. The seniors are bringing back Freshman Friday. Which is good, because 99.9% of the new Freshman are arrogant losers.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm a freshman, and this is so true! The majority of us are so irritating. Thanks for bringing up this point!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm in 8th grade, and I'm not cool. Fortunately, this means I fit in with the rest of my classmates.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm going to be a freshman this year, I know I'm not cool. I don't try to be. At all. It's just that some of my classmates make a bad name for the rest of us.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didn't realize how much of a loser I was as a freshman until I was a sophomore. As a sophomore last year, I was still a huge loser, but I least I recognized it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In my school the eighth grade has their own floor and even when I was in seventh grade I was still afraid to go down there and my friends and I would always travel in groups when venturing to the eighth grade.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Never thought i was particulary cool, i was just with my friends, brought handheld consoles like DS and PSP to play while waiting for class and talked about this and that, in fact the four of us were probably one of the least "cool" in out grade, never thought of it until the summer. But there were a lot (10+) of guys in my grade who always thought they were the coolest guys ever, all were total douchebags, one kid in our grade even started asking people what they thought of those guys and wrote it down, most if not everyone wrote douchebag or something else similar. An awesome tradition in my school is that after the first day of school the 10th graders get to boss the 8th graders around for about 2 hours and make them do this and that and they cant conplain, starting 9th grade so...meh im in the middle. Still gonna be fun laughing in the 8th graders face when they start doing stupid "cool" stuff. ...if anyone read this all could you replay saying you did (cause this is looooooooong)

I hate it when little groups of eighth grade girls come to high school footballs games and act like they own the place. It's like, okay hun, no one wants you here. Oh, and when they think they're cool because they know their sibling's friends from the high school.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm an eight grader myself and me and my friends are perfectly aware we're nothing but irritating bugs to high schoolers. The popular girls think they're SO cool because they know some high schoolers(I assume this is the same for most schools?). And just because they're loud and hang on to the HS kids, while the rest of us hang back out of their way, they give us ALL a bad name. So don't hate on us, please? D: It's the fourth graders that think they rule the world anyways.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(8thgradegirl:)): In addition to what you said, there are also the easy party girls who think all the guys (even in higher grades) want them. That’s the worst, in my opinion.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Going into 9th, I totally agree with this.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Go@426252 (Anonymous): @426252 (Anonymous): same.... It bugs me when people in my grade treated the 6th graders like crap. If you think about it, there is a possibility you will marry someone in 6th grade. It isn't a big gap.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Going into 11th, I've seen 2 douche-y classes. The freshman this year have egos the size of Jupiter. (Being in marching band I get to witness it first hand.) Don't back talk upper class men. It's a bad idea...especially at 5:30 am when they're not in the mood to deal with bratty freshman.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i knoww!!! like no u dont need to put makeup on like a blind person and post 3474838 pictures to facebook titled "yeahhhh ii gotttt boreeeddddddd(:<3333333"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm going on to freshman and totally agree with this post. I hope I don't get picked on because I'm the type to get picked, which pisses me the fuck of so if anyone here lives I'm miami, and is going to ferguson, please don't pick on the fat dude.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Also, I hate the OP's username, and the band its refering to. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm gonna be a freshman this year, I'm in the marching band and all the senior drummers talk to me and like me. My older brother used to be in the band and he had a ton of friends in the band which I got to hang out with a lot. So I don't really get picked on at all. I never did. I don't think i'm cool though. I just hang out with my freshman friends and we do our own thing and I'm happy with that. I agree with this post though. Last year I was sort of in the "cool" group of people. Which was the athletic people and at my school, the band people too. Lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most freshman girls are so slutty too. Pulling their shirts down, skirts up, hair poofed to the ceiling, and obnoxious giggling when upperclassman boys walk by.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Once I was at Ihop and saw these guys (either freshmen or eighth graders)that had to call their parents for money when it came time to pay......

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Freshman girls are the worst. They think those upperclassmen "love them". Uh, hello, they just want to get in your pants because you think love=sex. I steered farrrrr away from that stereotype as a freshman.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just completed the eighth grade and I hate how we all get a bad reputation because of the douchebags in our grade who think they run the school. There are seperate wings in our school and all you hear are the loud annoying eighth graders screaming and running around. I know im not cool but I think all those wannabe cool kids douchebags should just stop being so fake. For the freshman girls stop trying to be so slutty and show off to the upper grade guys because they don't want you, you just think they do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm going into 8th grade, and I was gonna disagree, but then I remembered what last year's 8th graders were like... I really hope I don't end up acting like them... :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When i look back at middle/high school I was a loser the majority of the time. But I had low self esteem so I knew it anyway

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just graduated 8th grade and me and my friends never tried to be "cool". we were crazy and if we went to a half-normal school, we'd be the biggest rejects ever :P but it's more fun that way. I agreed because i knew a lot of people this year that were snobby like that, and past grade 8s that went to my school.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm in 8th grade. Half of the people are complete jerks because we're the highest grade in the school. (6-8.) The 7th graders are just as bad. The 6th graders are only a little better.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Personally I think the sophomore class is the most irritating of them all. They were just freshman a few months ago, and they come into the new school year thinking they're so cool just because they're no longer the lowest class. Plus they treat the incoming freshman like shit despite the fact that they were not too long ago complaining about "likkeee omggg you were freshman too at one pointtt so why do you have to be soo meann!!!"
