+309 It's a bit embarassing when you ask a firend if they want to hang out today and they say, "Sorry, I'm in (far away place)", amirite?

It's also awkward when this happens with a friend.

Once a couple of my friends and I called our friend to ask if she wanted to hang out. Her response: "Um...I sort of moved...to North Carolina..."

Better than "sorry, I don't like you."

Firends are notorious for traveling without telling anyone. Luckily, I have friends.

Firend sounds like the way a pathetically white girl would pronounce "friend" in a bad attempt at sounding gangster. (In other words, how I say it.)

my friend went to Florida for like two months last summer. We called him nearly everyday to ask if he could hang out. he eventually stopped picking up. We did it again when he went for spring break

Is it wrong that I read this as 'firebender'?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes. Firebender isn't even close to firend.

How's this embarrassing?

It's like: "So how's Thursday?" "Oh sorry, that won't work" "Friday?" "Err, no" "Saturday?" "No" "Sunday?" "BITCH I SAID NO"
