+1,144 Guys who wear their pants down passed their ass should realize that the practice was started in prisons to show they were "available" to other inmates. Maybe then they would pull up their damn pants. amirite?

Interesting fact. I'm going to yell that to the next gangsta I come across.

That's actually not true. I believe the real reason is that some prisoners aren't allowed belts because they could make a weapon/noose out of it, and if their pants were a bit oversized on them they'd sag. Couldn't hurt to go around telling people it's a prison bitch fashion statement anyhow, though. :P

This right here just made my day. I'm so telling this to all the people I see in school and at the mall.

Yeah this is a false rumor --> http://www.snopes.com/risque/homosex/sagging.asp and http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/30/fashion/30baggy.html From NYT: Sagging began in prison, where oversized uniforms were issued without belts to prevent suicide and their use as weapons. The style spread through rappers and music videos, from the ghetto to the suburbs and around the world.

What the hell is this? FACTS? HERE? You sir are going to have to leave, that is simply not allowed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's "past" not "passed".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

this post is so stupid. why do you care how people wear there pants? it's just a style and doesn't effect you at all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It 'affects' people that don't care to see other people's underwear...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

if u dont care to see then---don't look.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sometimes they freaking jump out at you! It's hard not to look when they're standing in front of you on the bus, or in a crowd. Besides, underwear is meant to go *under* the pants, not above.

So what? Sometimes ugly people walk into the room that I don't want to look at....Do I tell them to be considerate of others and cover up their face? No, I deal with it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There's a different between being "ugly" and wearing your pants around your ankles. One should be legal, the other should not. I suppose, Oh Wise One, I'll let you decide which should be which.

It affected me when some douchebag wore his pants low without underwear. Ugh, the horror.

Urban legend.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I doubt that they would, even then xD
