i was just going to say percy jackson! (thank goodness for the lost hero etc) but i'm not sure if hunger games would be good if it were longer...i'd definitely like to hear more about peeta and katniss and their children (even though i hate katniss) but the ending seemed pretty final...

I wanted to say Harry Potter but I've been wondering if it could still be as amazing if it was longer. The Mysterious Benedict Society was one I thought was too short though.

I just finished the Percy Jackson series and I was really upset that I finished it. I also thought The Hunger Games were too short. It would be awesome if it had been made a longer series. I kinda liked Mortal Instruments too. They weren't as amazing though.
There are gonna be more about Camp Half-Blood, but I don't know if the characters are the same or not. But a new one just came out :)

the lost hero was very good! it does actually have the same characters in it though, just new main characters. i really like it that way, i think it's a really great way to keep the story going while still keeping it new and fresh!
Yeah I read it and it was really good. it left you on a cliffhanger though. i idont know if i can wait until next year for the next one to come out. and rick riordan also wrote a book on egyptian gods that im reading now which is pretty good

Well, one that definitely won't end soon is Warriors. Two books in to the fourth 6-book arc, 3 field guides, and 3 super editions and it's not likely to end soon.
the second half blood series is out, the books are longer, the main characters are three people, and all the characters in the percy jacksons series are in the books too. the first book is called the lost heroe. the hunger games i'm obsessed in,but i just wish katniss didn't have kids with peeta, PEETA IS A FREAKIN TROLL! and i hope they don't make a movie the hunger games, because we all know it's gonna suck.

how is Twilight too complex? plain girl falls for handsome vampire, shenanigans ensue, he leaves her because he wants her to be safe. it's the basic plot of...most vampire books now. a two year old could understand it (hence the movies). by the way, "Edward4ever"? really? i read the Twilight books, and it's the crazy stalker fans (cough you cough) that ruined it for me.

Sorry, my last reply was unprovoked. I'm really sorry. But I would like to point out that Twilight has very little description of the main character and a poorly structured plot that revolves around a girl unable to decide between a "vegetarian" vampire that doesn't react properly to sunlight and a werewolf that can transform essentially at will (which is okay, as long as there's some kind of real drawback, not just connected minds). Harry Potter is, on a level not everyone sees, about the eternal struggle between good and evil and how it's always possible to rise above any challenge, no matter whether it's the death of a family member or everyone in the world trying to kill you. Plus, Harry Potter has multiple plots within the main fight between Harry and Voldemort.
I apologize if I offended you in any way. I have a good friend who likes Twilight, but she accepts that I don't like it and doesn't say that it's too complex for me to understand.
I agree. The books were great. Movies, eh not so much.
