+379 The people who work at the dry cleaners charge you $11 to clean a dress shirt. It clearly doesn't cost that much, but you know you'll pay it anyway because you're not really sure what they do and how much it should cost. In fact, I'm 99% sure that all they did was iron it and put a plastic sheet over it, amirite?

I pay $5 for several shirts..I'd really try someplace else if I were you. Disregard if you meant to exaggerate

My dad has a dry cleaners. They don't get the clothes wet when they clean them, but it goes in a special machine that adds chemicals to make them clean, not regular water and detergent. The cost of everything is actually pretty expensive. If you have a smaller business, chances are they're charging more so they can make a profit. But no, they don't just press your clothes and cover them with a plastic bag.

I went to this one place and they cleaned my giant, poofy, beaded prom dress for $1.95. It was pretty awesome
