Meh. HP is actually pretty good, though a bit overhyped. The Warriors series by Erin Hunter are as elaborate and fricking awesome as Harry Potter.

I don't even read Harry Potter and I've only seen parts of a few of the movies, but I don't think it's overrated. I can tell it really does mean a lot to those who read it. It is magical, and that's from an outsider's point of view.

I've read it and I love it. A lot. But I do admit, there are certain people that completely forget other things in the world exist. I like having conversations about it, but not ALL the time.

Overhyped is not the same thing as overrated and yes some people do take it too far, but it is truely amazing, (the books that is, not the movies).....
