+834 How come a lot of parents dress their identical twins in the same exact outfit? Come on, they may LOOK identical, but I'm sure they have different personalities. Identical twins should be treated as individuals, not clones, amirite?

Omg, yes! My parents always dressed me and my sister the same and we couldn't be more different.

*more different other than our looks anyway.

i totally agree with this but when you have the stress of two twin babies i'm sure it's a bit easier to just dress them in the same outfits

Wouldn't it be easier to dress them differently so you could tell them apart?

My friends, identical twins, were dressed alike as children. Now, they dress similarly, but one wears purple, black, and blue (dark) while the other wears yellow, pink, red, and orange. They both wear green and grey.

I think it's fine when they're little. It's cute then. Past the age of 4, it's not very cute anymore.

I'm an identical twin, and i HATED it when my mom dressed us the same!!

im not even a twin but my mom still dressed me and my sister the same!

I'm an identical twin and my mom always dressed us in the same outfits but different colors. And what's funny is that I was always in pink, but I don't really like pink now. Our mom always painted our toes or finger nails different colors to. My sister and I couldn't be more different now, also.

My mom did the same thing to my sister and I. Same clothes, different colors.

I'm not even a twin and my mom always used to dress me and my younger sister (two year difference) in the same outfits. It was so annoying... I mean, I get dressing them similar, sort of, but completely identical every single day? That's just stupid. It's hard enough to tell identical twins apart.

Well the parents should know how to tell their children apart without having to have them in different outfits. Besides it cute when they are young, and easier. They can dress and pick out their own cloths when they are older and can do it on their own. Its not like they are gunna be dressed the same forever unless they want to.

Ok, I'm an identicle twin and I totally agree!!! Every one always treats me & my sister as one person & its SO annoying!!!

I know twins and one of them was "co-dependent". She just let her sister pick out all the outfits so they were usually dressed the same.

My aunt did this with her children, who are not twins but are 3 children spread across 3 years, and dressed them until the oldest one was about 12. The entire family dressed alike. Also, I'm a girl with a twin brother, and my parents only dressed us alike until maybe age three. Past that, I think we dressed ourselves or at least had some input on it. Thank god she didn't try to dress us similarly in colors or anything.
