+387 You never know what pronoun to use for a one-man band-- is it 'he/she' or 'they' ? amirite?

A band is referred to as "it". The musicians are collectively referred to as "they" and individually as "he" and "she".

What I meant is when someone asks you if you like, say, Nevershoutnever, then would you say "oh yeah, I love him!" or "totes mcgoats, brother, they're awesome!"

Just get the dumbass in the "band" to accept the fact that they are not in a band if there's only one of them...

I always refer to Nevershoutnever as he, because to me he is basically a solo singer, even though he has some of his buds playing the intruments with him. For a lot of his tours he doesn't even go with his band anyways xD

It's even worse when the band has been one guy for about 1/2 of their career, and 2-3 people for the rest.
