+428 Large sums of money always end up in the wrong people's hands(sports players, actors, porn stars, politicians), amirite?

How are sports players, politicians, and actors the wrong people?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What makes them undeserving?

@920258 (ReignBough): @920227 (Anonymous): They don't work any harder than other. And I don't mean the store clerks and stuff. I mean like construction worker and such.

Actors have to work very hard to get to the top of their profession. The reason they're paid so much is that people are willing to pay to see *them*. That's business, and it's completely fair. Also, the average construction worker probably makes more money than the average actor.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I understand that and I didn't say it was unfair I was just saying that's why op said that. Also do you have any family or anyone who works in construction? My father and both my brother work in construction and they don't make no where near as much as an actor.

Most actors I know get paid next to nothing for acting and have to have a second job for income.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Were talking about major actors here, like Adam Sandler or Tom Cruise.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wobbuffet said the average* actor, Sandler and Cruise are far from average actors.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didn't notice that he said average but even so the post is about actors who make *large* sums of money which would be acts like Adam Sandle and Tom Cruise not average actors.

So are you suggesting communism?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just stating what is obvious. An actor whom has been in said profession for a while and is good at what they do makes more than a construction worker who is at the same standards.

I have never looked at pornstars as the rich type.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why actors? they go through strenuous hours of costuming, filming (or practicing the play if it is an onstage actor), redoing messups, and more things in a day than you probably would in 2. Plus, millions of people watch sports players, actors, politicians, and porn stars. If you care so much, just dont watch them. That's one less person off their list.

Lolol@the addition of 'porn stars.'

With the exception of politicians, those people are paid in proportion to the amount of revenue they generate for their respective businesses. Do you really think it would be fair for say, a football player who risks his health and safety every week on the field(and will probably be barely able to walk by 45) to make the same as your example of a construction worker, while the owners of the teams make millions off the fans who come to see them? Same goes for actors- when a movie with them in it will make 100 million for the producers, shouldn't they get their fair chunk of it? I don't think you really have any idea what you're talking about. Porn stars =/= rich except in VERY rare cases like Ron Jeremy, because he crossed over into mainstream. Making a lot of money for 3 years getting DP'd by massive cocks does not a wealthy starlet make when she spends most of that money on drugs to make her forget she makes her money getting DP'd by massive cocks.
