HELL YEAH. We all know time-outs and taking toys away doesn't do crap for kids who are complete brats. And besides, a spanking every now and then won't corrupt a kid.

What about the parents that cannot control their kids? For example single parents always working or parents with life threatning diaseases? I mean most do take after their parents but what about the good parents with a kid gone bad?

a child is a reflection on their parenting. if the kids gone bad its due to the parenting. and id think a kid with a parent with a life threatning disease would appreciate things while theyve got them.

Actually some kids act very bad even if their parents act amazing. Like after a divorce a kid may feel the need to act put for attention

Actually, I do. My sister is a shcizophrenic with OCD and Anxiety. So before you try to piss me off just know I know all these things. And I at least can spell it. I know how people work and what makes it happen, and you don't so fuck off.

Alright this is your personal opinion, I get that, but just because you happen to see a kid misbehaving, doesn't mean that their parents are "shitty parents". I know a lot of parents who actually discipline their children, but sometimes the kid acts up. Don't pin that on the parents, they can't control their child 24/7. The kid had a mind of his/her own.

My mother was born and raised in a very strict household in Africa. So when I was little, even when I forgot to take my shoes off when I went into the house or forgot to make my bed, it was slapping and hitting. But my mother loved me and I respect her for what she did because it made me stronger person. I love my mom. But when I see kids today complaining about "Mom!! Why did you get me -insert toy here- as a present?! It's so LAME!!" I flinch because if I ever complained about that to my mom she would whip my ass like no tomorrow. Let's just say I'm thankful for what I have.
