Acupuncture is a theatrical placebo with risks. First, non-sterilized needles can lead to infection. Nocebo effect. Acts as a distraction that delays effective treatment. Furthermore, quacks have a habit of infiltrating the education system quackademia and law. Finally, there is a high correlation between sCAM (complementary and alternative medicine) and anti-vaxx views.
