+407 Pixar makes the best animated films of all time, amirite?

Dreamworks, Ima let you finish..Ah forget it. So 2009.

They haven't made the best animated film. But their 11 movies are better than any 11 of Disney or Dreamwork or Miyazaki's movies.

I would watch Beauty and the Beast over Bugs life any day. I have a bunch of solid arguments on why the classic animated Disney movies are higher quality than pixar, but you don't care.

Yeah I do. Shoot

Well, I'll just type one at at a time so You can respond to each individually. First of is animation. If you look at Disney movies they are incredibly beautiful and detailed. I have the art of tangled book and it gets really complex. The art not only is beautiful, it affects the story. They needed Mother gothel to look motherly, but not too nice. Toy story three had an animation book (Which I didn't get). It was a shorter book about all three movies. It had a lot less text and was far less complex. Also, if you look at the first pixar movie, toy story, you can see that the animation isn't very good. However, if you look at the first Disney movie the animation is amazing! That's a lot more than I intended to type, but you see my point.

Oh! Also a lot of things in Pixar have things to base it off of. Lotso was a real kids toys, along with other toys. All and all though everything looks a little cartoony. Disney has created most of their leads. They had some Live action models, but most of the princesses are created by the animators. They look more like humans though. So now I have an even longer post... and I forgot something I was going to say... XD

I don't know, the animation in Toy Story was pretty groundbreaking for its time. No doubt that hand-drawn animation has basically always had an advantage when it comes to facial expressions, but the fact that Toy story was the first full-length CGi animated film is pretty impressive. And Pixar animation gets better with each movie. The animation in WALL-E is just breathtaking.

I haven't seen WALL-E (I have it recorded). You make a good point though, but have you seen tangled yet? The animation is Better than PIXAR! You have your point with the CGI, but I repeat Snow white was the first full length animated film and it's really beutiful. Oh, and before I say anymore, let me just say I like pixar. I'm just really Disney Obsessed.

I saw Tangled. I wasn't impressed. :/ It was no BATB.

True, it wasn't as good as a lot of the classics, but it was pretty good. Let me move on to my next point. Re-watchability. Sure, the Toy Story series is very popular (though I must admit I don't know why) but you don't really hear much about their other movies. Of their 11 movies I would only re-watch four. My mom said she would only re-watch three. However, Snow White came out in 1937, and people still watch it. Finding Nemo was funny, but neither my brother nor I want to watch it again because we've seen it so many times. However, I will always laugh at Aladdin. I admit, this is mainly from my experiences, but I feel like Classic Disney will outlast pixar. I need to go to sleep now, but consider these points.

Disney animated films are often elevated by the classic status of what they're adapting. Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella are classic stories, so even if the films themselves aren't that spectacular, they'll be remembered. Pixar is particularly impressive in that all of their movies are completely original and not based on previous material. I think that's one reason why a typical Pixar film may not become "classic". That said, Toy Story has certainly become a classic and it looks like Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. are headed that way too.

I'm a Miyazaki fan; however, PIXAR makes some amazing movies.

I prefer regular Disney.

Disney. Tangled was the best movie I'd seen in a while, and they've got the Disney Princess movies, which are amazing (with the exception of the Princess and the Frog). I will say that Pixar has some good movies, and Fox made Anastasia. But overall, Disney is by far the best.
