Actually i think id rather swallow a whole bottle of sleeping pills or something else that can kill me and die in my sleep. Seems a lot more peacefull than struggling to breathe.
I agree, but have you ever gotten a small burn of some sort and it kills? now imagine that pain on your entire body... OUCH
but yeah drowning would be up there for the worst ways to die although I try not to dwell on that list very much :)
I think the worst part of it would just be the fact that you just slip away, someone could've saved you but no one knew. So you slip away with absolutely no hope at all...
You know what would suck? Being buried alive in a wooden box filled with water very deep in the earth. The heat from the earth would boil the water, while you're drowning in it, and no one could hear you because you'd be underground. In a way, you'd be burning, drowning, and have been buried alive all at the same time.
Yea i guess it's better than burning to death but still the panic you have when you realise you don't have any air and you start to do anything to go to the surface is pretty bad
I think it'd actually be quite peaceful. You'd probably struggle for a bit but then your brain would slowly run out of oxygen and you wouldn't be able to panic anymore so you'd just kind of slip away.
I'd actually be freaking out. Gasping for air and flailing, hoping somebody would pull me up and resuscitate, but losing hope as each second passes.
I'd hate it.
I'd rather have a sneak-attack gunshot to the head or heart or somewhere that would kill me quickly.
i think id rather just die of carbon monoxide poisoning in my sleep, seems the most painless way to die because if i was drowning i would deffinetly start to struggle and flail..... but i think the worst way to die would be from burning alive

Drowning is apparently pleasurable :). BUT, never having drowned myself, I wouldn't really know.
It would be worse if you drowned in a giant gelatin sea o.e
"it would be a lot less awful if right before you were really thirsty. ok,ok, OK,OK! TOO MUCH!!!TOOOOO MUUUChhh...."-Demitri martin<3
Aww dude, you beat me! I was JUST going to say that.
I think drowning and burning are probably the worst. They both just seem awful because they're both slow and painful.

Yer, it's a pretty depressing post, sorry. But I just thought it'd be interestiing to see others thoughts.
I say freezing to death is worse. It must be so painful when frostbite starts to set in...
actually. its better than dying of heat. because at one point, you get numb and start feeling pretty warm
but with heat you eventually pass out and die, so that seems like a quicker death.
I think they did a study about it. I don't know how, but they did. Freezing to death would be less painful than burning to death

and how did you come up with this?
Drowning is actually most peaceful and painless way to die
Yea i guess it's better than burning to death but still the panic you have when you realise you don't have any air and you start to do anything to go to the surface is pretty bad
That's definitely wrong.
Actually the bag over the head is because there is no pressure and you can just keep breathing instead of sucking in water.

100% agreed. I don't understand how anyone could consider that "peaceful."
i agreee aswell
Burning to death sounds more painful but shorter
It doesn't say it IS the worst, just one of them, ya know?
i think id rather just die of carbon monoxide poisoning in my sleep, seems the most painless way to die because if i was drowning i would deffinetly start to struggle and flail..... but i think the worst way to die would be from burning alive
id say getting shot would be quick...you would die before you feel a ton of pain
burning would be much worse..
I would rather sky dive without a parachute into the ocean
It says one of.... so it isn't really saying it's the worst way to die
