I live in Chicago and my cousin recently came to visit from North Carolina. Her seven year old told me she can "always tell when we're almost to your house because it smells bad" haha. I don't notice it.

Woo, go country air! xD You know you live in the country if youre scared to be outside alone too long at night because of the deer, foxes, coyotes, bats, raccoons, and possums.

None of those are particularly dangerous or scary, except perhaps coyotes.

Coyotes are afraid of humans for the most part. It's awesome hearing them at night.

Most of them aren't dangerous, but that doesn't mean I can't be scared of them. xD Our foxes can get pretty fierce, our bats like to come so close that they touch your ears, and raccoons are very dangerous if they get scared and defensive...
