Ugh, why does Canada get an awesome show like Degrassi, and were stuck with Secret life of the American teenager, amirite?

Degrassi is less believable then American Teenager (but neither are that believable in general) so I'd rather watch American Teenager then Degrassi any day!

Everyone gets pregnant by the same person. The characters are unbelievably stupid and naive. That's the worst show I've ever, EVER seen.

As an American, I can say the British folks get the best shows. Skins is pretty much their version those shows and it's actually good!

I've watched degrassi and secret life. But skins, which is British is so much better, however it's way more grown up!!

True, I hadn't really thought about how mature the content was. But (I hear) the UK is a lot less prude than the US so maybe it's about the same as us watching Degrassi and SL?

I'm American and I love Degrassi much more than The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Degrassi may now be re-using plotlines from past seasons, since all the previous cast members are gone, but at least it's still believable. The characters' dialogue feels real and the acting is good. On Secret Life, the dialogue and the acting are way too forced. Im not an actress, but I can prob act better than ne1 on that show

I watched the 1st two seasons of Secret Life. Every other sentence mentioned sex or marriage, especially later on. The plotline is SUPER twisted. I haven't seen many episodes of Degrassi, but from what I've seen, it's not *awful*, but it's not amazing.
