If what you are talking about are those types of private schools for only women/only men, then most people choose those for a reason. Any time that I've known someone who's been sent to a gender-specific boarding school, it's been for the same reason: Their parents want to make sure that they don't, erm, "socialize" with members of the opposite sex. However, that doesn't mean that I think that it's wrong; I think that the idea of segregation altogether is stupid. I'm just stating that I've never seen kids forced to go to a girl-only/boy-only school, and that either the kid or the parent has chosen to go there.

It's not about your judgement of their decisions. It's about making assumptions and discriminating based on weight, period. By saying people who have glandualr problems are rare, you give yourself permission to treat all overweight people as if that's true, without knowing... when a decent person would work under the other assumption, giving people the benefit of the doubt. I'm sorry, but there *is* no basis for superficial judgement based on weight. To say otherwise is just shallow.

At my old job, they wouldn't hire anyone ugly, overweight or old. When I started I had blond hair and I wanted to change it to brown and I mentioned it to my boss, who had a hissy fit and said that it would "ruin the look of the company" -_- I hope someone sues them for discrimination one day.
