by Anonymous 13 years ago

It never really came across to me that that were.... humans. I knew in the back of my head but it never occurred to me "Wow they are people!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You would think more people would realize they were humans. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I realized that they were humans, but I was too busy trying to figure out how there are beaches underwater to care about them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, there ARE beaches underwater. The water there has a higher salt content, so it kind of pools on the bottom of the ocean.

really its a cartoon, the main character is a dish sponge, the fish talk, theres an ocean under the ocean. whats the point of pointing out the other unrealistic things. It would be pretty damn boring if it made sense.

Techinally. All superheroes are "humans." Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc. Just like Aquaman though, Barnacle Boy and Mermaid Man have water superpowers that allow them to do unrealistic things. D; They're probably the size of a sponge because being in that water all the time made them shrivel & wrinkle. D:

DUDE THERE MERMAIDS! his name is fricking mermaid man and spongebobs is probably the most unrealistic cartoon theres a fircking squirrel underwater

by Anonymous 13 years ago

maybe they're not the size of a sponge, maybe spongebob is the size of a person.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's what I think.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Good point; however, in the Spongebob movie, you see Spongebob and Patrick running from the "cyclops" (the diver). Compared to him, a human, they are about the size of a dish sponge. Also, crabs, squirrels, lobsters, some squids, and starfish are typically the size of a dish sponge, and that's how they're portrayed next to Spongebob. I just don't have a reasonable explanation for Pearl...

Don't question it. Just love it. :)

Sea monkeys... they must be.
