No, just attempting to tell you that those are urban legends about Coke. If that was actually true, the FDA wouldn't let it sell anywhere.

Sorry to say that they aren't urban legends. I have actually witnessed their uses first hand. Coke contains high levels of carbonic, citric and phosphoric acids that break down stains. If you don't believe me then try using it yourself.

yeah no affence piratedicecream...but it's totally not urban legend. it also cleans rust on cars and it can help clean up blood and will make a penny shiny again. we JUST watched a myth busters on this in science class like...yesterday.

I never said it's not an urban legend, i never said it is. I wouldn't doubt that you COULD use it for those things, I'm disagreeing because the fact that coke can be used to clean these things is not a reason why it'd be bad to drink Take distilled water. I myself have used it to clean hardwood floors. That doesn't mean I shouldn't drink distilled water. All I'm saying is that if Wooohooo believes this is a serious issue, then he should probably do something about it, as opposed to just telling people online that they're wrong. Also, i haven't checked, but if snopes says that it isn't mass used as a toilet cleaner, or whatever, then snopes is probably right. Though, I'm sure it can be used to clean toilets just as laundry detergent can be used to unclog drains.

Well then, that means it’s good for cleaning stomach stains. So therefore, it’s a good drink.

It does removes grease because of the citric acid, not blood or anything. And in order for it to clean a toilet, you would have to leave it in it for like an hour...not very effective

Other sodas *do* have those things, but in lesser concentration. I have witnessed coke eating gunk off car battery posts, and pepsi won't do it. I don't drink coke because I don't like it, and part of why I don't like it is how acidic it is.
