Have people forgotten about Y2K and all the other "doomday" propheties? None of them happened. If the world will end I think it's gonna happen in 2060.

The whole 2012 issue with the calendar was not because the world is going to end. The Mayans built a calendar for each king's reign. December 21, 2012 is not the end of the world, but rather the end of the reign of the fifth king. We are the people of the corn, and 2012 marks the beginning of a new life cycle (according to the Mayans).
