I think that's a pretty harsh statement...I mean, cheating's bad but it's not right to say that someone doesn't deserve happiness

Everyone deserves happiness. Maybe not with that person in that way, but cursing a person with eternal sadness is making you just as bad as the cheater.

*sigh* Cheating is stupid and petty. People who cheat need to learn their lesson. Maybe not eternal sadness or whatever, but they should be punished some way where it will affect them enough that they won't cheat EVER again.

I cheated. It was necessary. My boyfriend treated me like shit but I couldn't break up with him. Another boy loved me and treated me nice.

There's no 'couldn't' unless he was threatening you or something, and in that case you should have told the police, not went off and cheated on him. It was not necessary.

Like pretty much everyone else has said, yeah, cheating is a horrible thing to do, but I don't think that they should never be happy ever again. People do stupid stuff all the time, and, in most cases, should be forgiven.
