well...the main cause of deforestation is for live stock, especially for cows, if we want to save the environment...start recycling your hamburgers :D

Trees cut down for paper products are replanted. In fact, in America, we don't harvest as many trees as we could. The main loss of forest is due to ranching and drugs.
